The #1 travel backpack frustration (based on your answers)!

Survey results are in!! Most travellers agree - this one problem ruins the trip.

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for taking the time to complete our survey last week! I wanted to share the results with this community first, before releasing them publicly via my short-form videos.

The insights you shared form the foundation of what’s next. After analyzing hundreds of data points, a few truths became obvious and clear:

💥 The #1 frustration

Most of you said lack of comfort is your biggest pain.

Straps that dig in. Shoulder and back fatigue. Bags that feel like bricks when packed full.

When you’re rushing through airports or catching trains, being uncomfortable and in pain is the last thing you want.

Close behind were:

  • Bags that are hard to access or organize, forcing you to dig for essentials.

  • The wish to pack more without tipping into the checked luggage territory.

  • Anxiety around bulky backpacks that may or may not fit the airline's size requirements.

❤️ The one feature travellers love most

Across all the brands you’ve tried, one thing consistently stands out:

You love smart organization (and hate not being able to find what you need when you need it). Hint: I already have a solution for this and can’t wait to share it with you!

🎒 The brands you trust

You’ve tested the best, from Osprey and Patagonia to Cotopaxi and AER.

You’ve invested in top names, but the perfect backpack still doesn’t exist…yet.

🙏 A community that believes

70% of those who took the survey said “yes” to a follow-up chat so I can learn more about your pain points. This is essential for me to truly understand your perspective and use these insights to share with my manufacturer in creating the perfect solution.

🚀 What’s next

I’ll be sharing polls and sneak peeks over the next few weeks, along with my proposed solutions to your survey responses. Those on this newsletter and my Instagram broadcast channel will have first access to help decide which solutions we move forward with.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this and for being a part of this journey!

P.S. Just a friendly reminder that I’ll be setting up one-on-one chats with this community to explore your travel frustrations and what your dream travel backpack would look like. If you missed the survey or have changed your mind and would like to participate, please reply with “add me,” and I’ll contact you to arrange a quick chat. As a thank-you, you’ll get a $75 credit toward the backpack when we launch!
