Insider sneak peek: how your feedback shaped the first prototype for Versapacking

Comfort. Organization. Sizing. Here’s the early look based on your survey answers!

Hi Everyone,

Just in case you missed my Instagram/TikTok story, the first physical prototype arrives next week.

But here’s what I didn’t post, and want to share with this insider community first👇.

After going through hundreds of survey responses, DMs, and emails, the 3 biggest pain points came through loud and clear. Here’s how this prototype solves them:

  1. Comfort – Hip belt + load lifters (most bags only have one or the other), dual-density foam for both structure and softness (most bags only use high-density foam for firmness, but I’m adding an extra softer layer against your shoulders to reduce strain), plus an air channel down the back to release heat.

  2. Organization – Multiple access points to the main clamshell (top + side), inspired by Peak Design’s Travel Backpack.

  3. Sizing – Made to fit even the strictest airline carry-on limits (20” x 12” x 7” ≈ 51 × 30 × 18 cm). Expandable from 30L to 35L, so you can pack more when permitted by more lenient airline rules.

What’s Next?

• Those who signed up for 1:1 feedback calls will get to see the prototype (and receive a $75 discount when we launch) and can provide live feedback to help shape our second version (let’s make the bag even better!). I’m scheduling these calls over the next few days.

• If you want to join, email me at [email protected].

• For the first time, I will film YouTube long-form content that will be released privately (I’ll share the link with you when I make my first one), which will include more detailed features and benefits of the bag.

All your feedback is literally shaping the design, and I can’t wait to show you more.

P.S. There’s a secret product that will pair perfectly with this backpack. More to come, and thank you for all your support!
